Christmas ornament with the Cricut

I know Christmas is over, but I was so busy before Christmas I didn't have time to post.
This year I added a Puppy Tree to our collection of Christmas trees. I took matt & shiney pearl white bulbs

and cut dog silhouettes with black vinyl on the Cricut. I pressed the vinyl onto the bulbs and smoothed out the edges with a bone folder. The picture didn't turn out very well but the bulbs look great on the tree.
I made homemade dog treats and sprayed a clear coat to make them shine. I also made the dog tags with the Cricut. I used rubons for each of the dogs names. All in all I think it turned out pretty cute.

More calender pages

I'm a week late but here is the last 6 months of pages I made for my Mom's calender for 2010.
In these pictures we have Andrea & Lindsey, the bottom picture is Alex and Emily

This was taken when Roger and I were in Hawaii in Feb.
Erica sitting at her desk in her class room and the bottom picture is the outside of the Marshalltown Christian school she teaches at.
Carson and Kenzie decorating foam leaves.
Tyler and Kyle wearing Andrews hat.
Uncle Richard, Aunt Janet, Aunt Betty Ann
Aunt Marcia, Uncle Irvin and Mom (Arlene)

I still need to add a picture of Uncle Irvins house at the bottom of this picture. He passed away this year.

Calender pages

Life has been so busy lately and I haven't had time to do anything scrapbook related but every year I make a calender for my Mom's Christmas gift. Here are a few of the pages:
The first picture is of my Mom with the 3 oldest grandkids.

This is the 5 of us at the Nelson Pioneer Farm where we had the reception. The bottom picture is of big Sister Erica getting her dance in with Tyler.
Tyler and Emma took their wedding clothes on their honeymoon with them to get pictures on the beach. They turned out so good. And the water behind them looks wonderful.
This past Easter we took pictures of my Mom with all the Grands. All of the girls in the first picture and the boys in the bottom picture.
Here is us 5 kids with Mom and Dad
My Grandma Phillips is in this picture. All of the pages are pretty simple. Mom is more into the pictures than the scrapbooking part of it. It was a great way to use up some of my older papers and scraps. The next 6 calender pages will be next week.
