Welcome to the Baking Blog Hop. You should have come here from Jen's Craft Corner. If you happened across our blog hop you can start at Baking Up Crafts. Everyone has great projects to share and I had so much fun making mine.
I saw this tool box on Sarah's blog -Pink Cricut- and I knew exactly how I wanted to use it. My husband is a VERY handy man and we never have to hire jobs out unless he's to busy to do them himself. But his favorite project right now is working on the 77 camaro he's restoring. It was the car he had when we started dating in 1981. The car had more problems than we realized which is usually the case with older cars. It has been a labor of love. When he has free time he works on it and when he works on his car that means I can craft undisturbed and not feel guilty for being in my scrap room and not in the yard or garden.
I used paper that looks like hammered metal. and covered all the tool box pieces.
I punched holes in the four corners and used brads that look like screws.
He loves his Makita tools so I used cardstock in the same colors as the tools.
The black band around the tool box is black cardstock I ran thru the Clock Works embossing folder because it looks like car gears.
The tools are cut from the Handy Man lite cartridge at 2 1/2". Because this will be used when he's working on his car I used tool images that he would use on his car.
I stamped "You Rev My Engine" which is in the Tool Time stamps from Pink By Design stamps. I LOVE Sarah's stamps.
The tool box handle is a wood dowel that I ran across the silver ink pad from ColorBox Cat Eye inks.I'm going to give this to my husband saturday when he gets home from work. He can spend the afternoon working on his car and have goodies right on his work bench. I made Carmelita Bars and Popcorn Caramel Crunch. I added a Snickers and some packs of peanuts. It gives him a little sweet and salty. If I keep refreshing his ice tea he'll be happy and I can scrapbook all afternoon.
( I'll add the recipe's at the end if you would like them)
I also have a little give away. Become a follower and leave a comment and I'll draw a winner June 29.
I hope you enjoyed the blog hop. Here's the line up if you've missed anyone.

Oh Dana - these look absolutely sinful :) Thanks for the recipes! This little toolbox is adorable! My husband is totally the opposite of you - not so much that he isn't handy, just that he is a procrastinator! On the other hand, he is a jeweler so that is nice too LOL Blogger won't let me follow you as much as I would like to. I am keeping a notebook of blogs I want to visit but can't follow so I can check in. Take care and happy crafting!

What a sweetheart you are to remember you husband. Good idea to keep him happy then you can be happy and scrap. I too feel a tad bit guilty when I want to craft when there is always so much other "things" to do!! However, I feel so much better when I take time for me too. Thank you for these easy recipes I want to try both of them. thanks you sharing. thanks also for offering your blog candy. I love using twine on projects. I am proud follower 133 of your darling blog. Three is my lucky number so I am crossing my fingers. Hugs.
