Guest Designer for Inking it up Crazy

Good Thursday Morning and welcome to my "Guest Designer" post. Today I'm honored to be a guest designer for Kassidy at Inking it up Crazy. Happy Birthday Kassidy! It's her birthday this month and she's celebrating all month with wonderful giveaways. The theme for today is "My Pink Stamper" and Kassidy will be giving away a set of the stamps, so you'll want to make sure and stop by her blog also.

When I saw this stamp in the "Everyday Life" set from My Pink Stamper I knew I wanted to use it on this card. One of my very good friends loves tea and when I saw this teapot cut in the A Childs Year cartridge I knew the image and stamp would be perfect together.

The paper pack is from the K & Company Classic K Bailey collection. It's one of my favorites, I've used it on so many projects.

The teapot is cut at 10" using the tag image on page 67. To cut the lid of the teapot I used the "Icon" button and cut at 7".

The teacup is cut at 3 1/2" I cut it a second time in coordinating paper and cut the teacup and saucer apart and layered them.

I used Colorbox Cat's Eyes brown ink to ink all the edges.

The pearls on the teapot are from a Prima swirl that I cut apart and added to the bottom of the teacup and the lid of the teapot.

The teapot tag is cut at 1 1/2" and stamped with the "Thinking of You" stamp from Everyday Occasions from My Pink Stamper

The small teapot charm was covered in Glossy Accents and then matted with the polka dotted paper. It's tied to the brad with a small piece of cream sheer ribbon.

The ribbon is from my stock and the antique brad in the center of the bow is from Spare Parts by Paper Studio.

Inside the card I cut the mat at 2" and the cream mat at 2 1/4" and stamped "When I count my blessings I count you twice" from the "Everyday Life" set by My Pink Stamper.

Thank You Kassidy for having me as a guest designer today. I hope everyone enjoyed the card and tag.

Have a Scrap Happy Day!
Dana
